Although I agree with Biggsrr, I enjoy a good refresher. 13 out of the 14 foods do indeed seem "super." However, beef not only clogs arteries, ups bad cholesterol, and promotes cancers, its production is environmentally unconscionable. A major organization (might have been WHO) said that in order to reduce malnutrition and starvation around the world, everyone should drastically reduce their meat intake. I'm not sure how beef can be considered a "superfood" if people are better off--in every way--excluding it entirely from their diet. (Interesting note: there was a recent article about a study that revealed Roman gladiators, people whose survival depended on strength and health, were vegetarians.)
