Realistically Ladies, these exercises will strengthen your abs, but won’t accomplish much else. So your belly pooch will simply end up hiding stronger musculature, but that’s about it. Even though exercising any muscles will burn some calories and possibly some fat, the idea that exercising a particular muscle will burn the fat that lies right on it, is a pure fantasy.
I completely agree with what you said. You can work a particular muscle and strengthen it but the fat laying on top will not disappear. I tried to eliminate the excess fat covering my abs it did not matter how much i worked them, i saw no difference. I made a decision to go for cosmetic surgery and it was worth every penny.
