hey, cool tips but i have a better one, if u have a belt with diamonds one - like a belt from guess, put some clear nail polish on it to stop them fro popping out.

I've worn the letters off my PC keyboard and had to buy new ones.I bought a new board and painted each letter with clear nail polish. That was months ago and my letters still look like new.

I use clear nail polish for something else. If my pantyhose or tights got small scratches or holes, i apply nail polish immediately on these holes to prevent them from running and spoiling my pantyhose. very practical.

I have several pair of broad, ring-shaped pierced-earrings whose original coating is chipped or scratched. I merely paint over them with one of my favourite nail colours, and consequently I have earrings now that match my nails! If they chip, I can refresh the colour coat, or paint over with a new colour.
