Necessity is often the mother of invention.

One very cold winter day, my lab retriever ended up rolling in rotten fish.

BUT he was too big for any tub; and I had an urgent appointment elsewhere(beside home).

So, I foofed him all over with baby powder, waited a few minutes and brushed him vigorously out on the patio. The stink was gone and his coat shone beautifully.
