4. Make Non-toxic Hair Dye

Are your tweens bugging you about colouring their hair? Make a non-toxic hair dye that washes out easily with Kool-Aid. Choose a bright colour. Mix two packets of unsweetened Kool-Aid (sweetened is messy and doesn’t work). Add enough water to make a paste. Add a few drops of hair conditioner to make the paste stick to the hair. Put on a pair of gloves and apply the Kool-Aid to your hair. Wrap your head in plastic wrap and wait. The longer you leave the plastic on, the brighter the colour.
