Conditioner works great for shaving too! It generally has a wax or lubricant like silicone to help avoid nicks.

Hair elastics for wires work great! Bobby pins with the nubs off the end also work well for holding clothing with a wide neck or thin straps on a hanger.

Be mindful when storing old sunscreens in your car it can damage the product due to the changes in temp going from hot to cold, causing separation and break down of active ingredients.

I know I am commenting alot, but I think it is very important to know which of these tips may end up being more wasteful in the end if the research on how effective they are hasn't been done in the first place. :)

Using face wash as a body product is a good way to waste a ridiculous amount of money on expensive face wash as well as a large amount of a already small product.  How about just buy a professional body product with Salicylic Acid in it, these are available everywhere now, and tend to be able to have a high amount of active ingredients because the skin on your body can handle it.  Clinique has a inexpensive body bar that works great for "bacne" and you only have to buy the container once, then refills to follow, so less waste than a ton of tiny face wash bottles!

Adding nail polish remover to hardened polish does work, but it also dulls the shine ruining your polish after one or two uses.  Stick with nail laquer thinner by OPI.  It works well, you only need a couple of drops, lasts a long time and it won't degrade the quality of your polish.
