We still want the fairy tale
On TV (Once Upon a Time) and in film (Snow White and the Huntsman and Mirror, Mirror), we embraced badass princesses who require no saving from a guy on a horse. They win their happily-ever-after endings with grit and guts, which is actually how it works in real life.

According to a recent British study, fewer women are 'marrying up,'  
Annnd.  According to another British study less than half of all British teens are raised in a home with both parents.
Yet another British study shows that fewer women are bothering to fix relationships and more and more are recycling into other people's rejected partners.
.
What could possibly go wrong for the society long term, right?
If the feminists of the 1970's thought there were a lot of men who hated women then,  The numbers that will be around in western societies of the future would leave even the most verbose speechless.

What I learned about love in 2012:

 

how far society has fallen when moms have to resort to mommy porn that, from what I've heard, is absolutely terrible.

 

Here's looking at you 50 Shades of Grey, instead of reading pronography to get your high why don't you try and have a REAL love life instead?
