"My boyfriend and best friend of six and a half years proposed to me on a family vacation in Mexico that he tagged along on. We're both scuba divers and obsess over it daily, so the trip revolved around diving, of course. He proposed underwater while we were diving, with a homemade 'Will you marry me?' sign. Ride of Their Lives
"We were in Arizona for the weekend to test-drive the brand-new Nissan Altima (Paul had won a contest and I had no idea he was planning a proposal with everyone's help!). Once we were on the track and Paul was driving the car, we had to pull over on the side of the road because we saw a big black curtain blocking the roadway. As I was looking behind us to capture the gorgeous sunset, out of nowhere 4 cars drove by on the track -- each one with a banner that together spelled out: "will" "you" "marry" "me?" As I was saying yes and crying tears of happiness, the curtain dropped to reveal a string quartet playing an amazing musical medley and a table set up with strawberries and champagne. I was completely blown away!" -- Jane

Hearts on Fire
"On Memorial Day this year, we were a part of the local parade (my boyfriend is part of the fire department and I'm in the Ladies Auxiliary), and when we got to the area in front of the firehouse, all the guys lined up and the Ladies Auxiliary was asked to get out of our cars and walk with the firemen. Well, I did, and as I turned around, my boyfriend took a ring box out of his pocket, got down on one knee and proposed. I said yes, and all at once the fire truck sirens and lights went off on every truck -- there are eight in total!" -- Angie
