The pictures are amazing, but what a waste of dresses... if your gonna trash a wedding dress, why not just donate it so that someone else who can't afford a dress can wear it?

My wife did trash the dress last winter for a new photographer (she is not a professional but just does it as a side gig) in our area, i gotta say most of these suck in comparison.

What an amazing idea!! My dress is sitting in the attic and I'm not thrilled with my wedding photos ... lack of creativity. I'm hiring two photographers here in Halifax, NS for my shoot. Liam Hennessy of Applehead Studio and Jeff Cooke of JeffCookePhotography are collaborating on a project that will rock! I can't wait. It's not so much about destroying my dress as it is creating stunning images that I wasn't able to capture on my wedding day. Don't knock it - it's such a fantastic idea!!! The images above are great - I LOVE the painted bride and fire one's Jeff provided - phenomenal.

These are some great photography pictures and images! Great lighting effect for the photo shot of the couple in Toronto (even though it's from light pollution on a rainy day !) ..pollution gives itself to some pretty red/pink shades in the skies and some nice colored sunsets too. Sure you no longer need the dress, you have the memories and of course keeping the pictures is a must :)

These pictures are out of this world. There is one I really like in particular;) For those of you who don't know "trash the dress" very well, I want to let you know that the dress doesn't actually get trashed. When I had my "trash the dress" session, my dress came out clean because of the salt water!!! There is also dry cleaning, recycling your dress and of course donating it.

Nice photos, but don't you have more companies to feature besides "Still Motion" all the time? There are many other photographers out there with way better photos. Makes me wonder if you are biased showing 5 photos from only one company.

I believe Dandar is not a country girl at all. The animal is a horse ! Note the mane and tail . The picture was taken looking up and lets the ears appear longer. I love the horse laugh, mine do it all the time too ! As for the rest I agree lets all enjoy life at large and not keep the memories locked in a box.

just an FYI: that's a donkey, not a horse. Coming from a poor little country girl who would loooove to trash her dress! I mean REALLY! What else are you gonna do with it? Let is sit in a sealed box for the rest of your life!? I am sure all brides, and grooms, have much better things/memories to look at to remember, what should be, one the best day of their lives!
